After series of experiments and analysis we have made the decision to focus on the futures contracts. The market for spot arbitrage is very competitive, spot market making is run by major players and competition in this area is very difficult. We wanted to employ our experience in high frequency trading on cryptocurrencies in the strategy that is not that much an arbitrage nor market making but a superset of these – that is Futures Spread Trading. Bitcoin spread trading is in its early stage, exchanges start adding block trade APIs – we want to create Futures Spread Trading platform that we plan to call BitSpreader.
